Meet the Pastor and First Family

Pastor Tony Bledsoe

Founding and Senior Pastor of PowerHouse Church of God

Pastor Tony is known for his relevant and transparent teaching style focused on educating, equipping, elevating and empowering people with the Word of God. He has worked with children, youth and young adults in ministry for 23 years and served as the Youth and Young Adult Pastor at National Church of God, in Ft. Washington, MD where he served for 13 years on staff. He developed and organized a mentoring and discipleship program for boys and young men ages 10 to early 30's.

Pastor Tony has been a continual student of the word throughout his ministry earning a degree in Biblical Studies from National Bible College and Seminary. He is also a 2009 graduate of the Devos Urban Leadership Institute. He also served on numerous Youth boards and committees and has preached in youth conferences and events throughout the US and abroad teaching that a Christian lifestyle is one worth living.

Pastor Tony resides in Clinton, MD with his wife, Lori and two young adults daughters who are all active in ministry.

First Lady Lori

Lady Lori Bledsoe is a native of the Chicago area who moved to the DMV area in 1985. Several years later she re-dedicated her life to Christ. With her husband, Pastor Anthony “Tony” Bledsoe she served in ministry at National COG in Ft. Washington, MD for 25 years. Lady Lori graduated in 1994 from National’s former “Ladies in Leadership Program”, a comprehensive woman’s leadership and biblical discipleship program under the late Bishop TL Lowery and former First Lady Mildred Lowery.

She completed the Church of God Ministerial Affirmation Program with her husband in 2006 and completed her Church of God Exhorter certification in 2007. In 2011, after many years of the Lord’s stirring and at the Lord’s leading she stepped out in faith to develop, found and launch a Young Ladies Mentoring and Discipleship program, called the Young Ladies of Virtue (YLOV), designed to teach, reach and meet the needs of young ladies from middle school to high school and address the everyday challenges faced by young women. She is in the midst of converting her dream into a non-profit to have further reach in the community. She has also worked for the Federal Government for over 30 years in various leadership and management positions.

Lady Lori and her husband have been married for more than two decades are the proud parents of two bright, beautiful and gifted young adult daughters & are also blessed to be spiritual parents to many more sons and daughters.

In October 2015 along with her husband, Pastor Tony and with the blessing of their denomination, they stepped out in faith and answered the call to pastor and planted Powerhouse Church of God in Waldorf, MD.

The Bledsoe's
